Identities

MountainSeed Range

The MountainSeed logo is the most immediate representation of our company, our culture, and our brand. These guidelines describe how to use it consistently in its proper, approved forms.

Usage

Clear Space

When using our logos, create enough margin around the logo so that it stands out from the rest of the content. Best practice in printed documents is to allow a minimum .5″ around the logo. For larger applications of the logo (banners/signs/etc.), more ‘breathing room’ may be needed.

Right Scale

When using our logos, consider its size/scale in relation to the application. The smaller the logo, the more difficult it becomes to effectively print or read. Applications of our logo smaller than .75″ should only be used when MountainSeed’s identity has already been established through approved means.

Color Formats

HEX – A digital conversion that is used in web formats. Use this formula in web-based programs. Note: Hex and RGB are interchangeable for digital use 99.9% of the time.

RGB – Red, Green, and Blue light is used in digital applications to create a color value. Use this formula when expressing colors digitally.

CMYK – Also known as “4-color-process”. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks are used to create rich and accurate physical prints. Commonly used in the majority of high-end and corporate/office printers.

Pantoneā„¢ – Known for making a vast range of perfect-match inks used by professional print shops. Most employees will not have a use for this format as it is expensive and used only when brand colors MUST be 100% accurate. All print shops will primarily print CMYK unless Pantoneā„¢ is explicitly requested.
